Eric Sound Studio

Haoqian “Eric” He (何昊谦) was born and raised in Xiamen, a small island city in southeast China. He moved to the Los Angeles for his filmmaking career in 2018. He has been interested in filmmaking since he was a young boy.

He enrolled at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2019 to study filmmaking. During this time he developed a great interest in production sound recording/mixing. In December 2023, he graduated from CSUN in Film Production major with sound emphasis, and he started his freelance career as a sound mixer.

In the summer of 2024, he was selected from over 7,000 applicants to attend the Academy Gold Rising Internship at the Academy of Motion Picture Art and Science. The Academy Gold Rising internship not only gave him the opportunity to work with some of the top professionals in the industry, but also allowed him to further develop his skills in film sound mixing and sound design.
